New Web Site Features

screen-capture
I have added a couple of elements to the web site recently purely for fun. The first Ratings allows visitors to rate each blog post. At the bottom of each blog post are 5 stars, simply select the number of stars you think an entry deserves by clicking a star with the mouse and you have rated the entry.

The second element Polls allows visitors to vote on different questions and / or subjects of interest by clicking the answer and then the vote button. The Polls appear in the right hand side bar (the orange ribbon).

The
Polls will be a mixture of fun and serious questions. If you have an idea for a Poll question you can send it to me via the Contact Form.

Lazy Day

images
Okay, so I didn't get up until 09:00 this morning and I work up feeling lazy so I settled on a lazy day. I went for a walk to the shops this morning as I didn't have any provisions, but once stocked up I took up a horizontal position on the couch where I have spent most of the day either reading, or watching movies.

A complete waste really, but it rained for most of the afternoon so I didn't feel to guilty. I did manage to get a few work items done too, which also helps with the guilt, oh and as you have probably noticed I have changed the graphics that the web site uses. I started off just playing around, but decided this was easier to read.

New look site.

Okay so you may have noticed a few changed round here. Well for the last few years I have been using a product called SooP, an extremely powerful and versatile ASP based web portal, but it does require a fair amount of administration and to be honest it requires a little more than I have time for these days.

I have therefore chosen to do something a little simpler on my personal site.

I will however still be working on the SooP Portal product and the ScriptGecko modifications via my
Test Center site.
