Well a little late but what can I say; it’s been manic around here. 2011 wasn’t such a great year for me all said and done, but I have high hopes for 2012, but more on that in another post.
Christmas was rather quiet this year, but in a good way. Over the last few years someone has been ill in one way or another, and Christmas, despite everybody’s best efforts has been hard work. This year however it was all much more relaxed, and way more enjoyable!
I spent Christmas day with with Mum & Dad. Mum cooked a wonderful Christmas dinner, we opened our presents, chatted, and listened to dodgy Christmas carols. Are there any other sort?
Boxing day on the other hand wasn’t so quiet. Katrina and Rob brought William & Eleanor up, and we gave them their Christmas presents from us (Mum, Dad, and I). It was fantastic watching them open them all up and no they didn’t know what to play with first. At one stage Eleanor found a couple of balloons that were left over from Halloween and was playing with them, whist dolls, Playdoh, puzzles, and the like littered the floor.
We all had a lovely meal, and ate far to many sweets, but that’s what Christmas is about right?
Well it’s back to normal now and I am up to my ears in setting up my new company, but more on that as I said in another post. Until then, Happy New Year and best wishes to you all for 2012.
