Having owned an iPhone since the initial release and now owning an iPhone 4 I think I am ready to share my personal top 5 iPhone apps.

1. OmniFocus for iPhone
I am a complete list junky and if it’s not written down it’s not getting done. OmniFocus sits right on my task bar and is probably my most used application. OmniFocus is a paid application and it’s not cheap at £11.99 (iTunes Link), but it is very powerful and sync’s with my desktop and iPad via DropBox. It’s a real GTD (Getting Things Done) application and does take some time to get used to and learn.
Twitter Clients are probably the hardest to nail down and if I am honest I still haven’t settled on a single one, but I do find myself using Seesmic for iPhone most of the time. The key for me is a client that is simple and quick to navigate and use, and allows me to posts from Multiple accounts while also including the ability to update my FaceBook status at the same time. Seesmic does this and better still it’s free (iTunes Link) so makes my top five list.
3. Instagram.
A cool photography app that not only lets you take pictures and apply some very effective filter effects to them, but also lets you share them with various social networks (Twitter, FaceBook, & Flickr) a great addition is it allow you to email them to people. Great for those relatives that can’t seem to figure out MMS. Better still it’s also free (iTunes Link)

4.Spotify.
What is Spotify? Any track you like, any time you like. Just search for it in Spotify, then play it. Any artist, any album, any genre – all available instantly. With Spotify, there are no limits to the amount of music you could listen to. Just help yourself to whatever you want, whenever you want it.
While the application is free (iTunes Link), you do need a Spotify Premium Subscription to get the best mobile experience.
5. DropBox.
Most people have heard of DropBox but the ability to access my data from my phone is priceless. It’s free to sign up to with 2GB of online storage and the iPhone Application is also free (iTunes Link).
